Floating yoga doesnt have a long history, it all started when my mother had a problem with her legs and arms. She needed some kind of gently exercises to do, without creating any extra strain on other areas of her body. This promted me along with a doctor to create safe and easy ways to bring more oxygen, and strength back into her legs and arms.
This is what lead to the development of floating yoga.
Floating Yoga was designed using the postures (asanas) practised in yoga. They are also called stretches in the dance vocabulary. There is a lifetime of different studies that go into these postures and I hope that they may help you along your way into a peaceful energetic well being of your own body, mind and spirit.
